Sword Group & IWGA – Road to Chengdu 2025
After the success in Birmingham USA in 2022, Sword Group and the International World Games Association have renewed their partnership for the 12th edition of The World Games in Chengdu, People’s Republic of China in 2025.
Sword Group has been selected by IWGA for the provision of Sword Venue, as their primary venue tool to improve collaboration and organization of this multi-sports event. Sword Venue provides the most advanced technologies in event management planning , including Digital Twin and 3D capabilities.
The World Games is a multi-sport event staged every four years by the International World Games Association, organized with the support of the International Olympic Committee. The World Games 2022 was held in Birmingham, Alabama, USA, 7-17 July 2022. 3,600 athletes from 34 sports and 100 countries took part in the Games. The 12th edition of The World Games will be held in Chengdu, CHN in 2025.

Sword Venue carries out its work globally, from its headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland, and its regional offices in more than 20 countries. Sword Venue offers a white-labelled SaaS collaborative platform for event planning. Main modules include event design, inventory management and human resources planning in the context of major events.
